- In your personal space, open Settings → Plan.
- Press Upgrade: $6 a month, or choose the yearly price to pay $60 a year.
- Stripe's checkout page opens. Enter your card there and confirm.
- You come back to the desk, on Settings → Plan. The plan switches on a moment later, when Stripe confirms it.
- Choose New company… from the space menu at the top left of the desk, or open Settings → Companies. Type the company's name and press Create company.
The desk switches to the new company's space straight away. It starts empty, with its own details, invoice branding, payment methods and numbering. Fill them in under Settings → Company while you are in its space: see Your company's details.
More than one companyOne Company plan covers every company you start. To add another, choose New company… from the space menu, or create another from Settings → Companies in your personal space, which lists every company you are in, each with a Switch button. Being a member of someone else's company costs you nothing.
