Security you can see and switch on
Your account holds your clients, your rates and what you earn. Involets gives you the tools to keep it yours, and shows you what is signed in.
Two-factor sign-in
Scan a QR code with any authenticator app, or type the setup key. You get ten single-use recovery codes to download and keep.
Unusual sign-ins
With two-factor on, Involets asks for a code when a device has not passed one in 30 days, or when you sign in from a country it has not seen in 90.
Every device, listed
Settings lists each browser and app you are signed in on, with where it is. Sign one out, or every one except this.
Codes, not links
A new account is confirmed with an eight-digit code. A new email address must be confirmed from that address before anything changes.
Password changes
Passwords are at least eight characters. On an account with two-factor, changing the password or email needs a session that has passed a code.
Your data, any time
Export your time entries, invoices, projects and clients as CSV from Settings, whenever you want them.
No advertising, nothing sold
Involets shows no ads and does not sell your data. The privacy policy says what is stored and why.
You are told when it matters
Turning two-factor on or off sends an email to your address, so a change you did not make does not go unnoticed.
Signed in for as long as you use it
A sign-in lasts up to a year and ends after 90 days without use, so the desk, the extension and your phone do not ask for your password every week.
About security and privacy
What if I lose my phone?
Sign in with one of your ten recovery codes instead of a code from the app. Each works once. Make a new set in Settings when you are back in.
Does Involets ask for a code every time I sign in?
No. With two-factor on, it asks when a device has not passed a code in 30 days or the sign-in comes from a new country, and when you change your password or email.
Start with the timer. The invoice follows.
Make an account, start the clock, and send your first invoice when the work is done. No card, and nothing to upgrade to later.
