Where Toggl Track is ahead

Tracking everywhere

Toggl Track has desktop and phone apps and a browser extension that adds a timer inside many other tools, from project boards to email. Involets has the web desk, a Chrome extension and a Mac menu bar app.

Integrations and planning

Toggl connects to calendars and a long list of other tools, and adds planning features. Involets has none of those integrations.

Where Involets is different

Invoices without upgrading

In Involets the hours you track become invoice lines on the free plan, with your tax, terms and payment details, and a PDF with your logo. Toggl Track’s free plan does not make invoices.

One price for the team

Toggl’s paid plans are priced per user. Involets’ Team plan is $6 a month for up to 30 people, so ten people pay $6, not $90 or more.

Which to choose

Choose Toggl Track if the timer has to live inside your other tools, on your phone or on Windows and Linux. Choose Involets if you want the time and the invoice in one place on the free plan, and one price for your team.

Questions

Involets and Toggl Track: what people ask

Is Involets a good Toggl Track alternative?

If you track time to bill it, yes. Involets keeps the timer simple and puts invoicing, clients, fixed-price projects and reports beside it, free for one person. If you mainly need a timer inside other tools, Toggl Track does more of that.

Does Involets have a free plan with invoicing?

Yes. Personal is free and includes invoicing: branded PDF invoices made from your tracked hours, with your tax and payment details.

Can I import my Toggl Track time?

Not yet. Start with your current clients and projects in Involets, and keep Toggl’s export for past work.
