Roll back or delete an invoice

Undo the billing so the hours can be invoiced again, or remove just the document.

An invoice's ⋯ menu has two ways out, and they do different things.

Roll back invoice

Roll back invoice undoes the billing. The hours on it become unbilled again, and a fixed-price project gets back the amount the invoice billed, so you can make a corrected invoice from the same work.

Delete invoice

Delete invoice removes only the document, and leaves the hours counted as billed.

Both send the invoice to the Trash, where Put back restores it.

Bill tracked hours or part of a fixed price, add tax, and review.
